When Oleg Taktarov fought Marco Ruas in Brazil, Gene LeBell asked Silverado to go along just to make sure the guys didn't get lost in the "jungle". On the left is a corner man's view of the fight and on the right Oleg, Silverado and Mike touring around São Paulo during rush hour.

A very inexperienced Silverado competing as a blue belt at the First Pan American in 1995. "My opponent seemed to outweigh me by 200lbs and he fought like a brown belt." He went on to win the division.
